Everything happens in the Claude desktop app — Mac or Windows, same steps. No terminal, no coding.
You never touch a terminal. You upload one file in the app’s settings, then type a /command in the message box. That’s the whole thing, and it’s identical on Mac and Windows.
Step 1 — Get the app (if you don’t have it)
If the Claude desktop app isn’t installed yet, get it for your Mac or Windows machine and sign in with your Anthropic account:
Download: claude.ai/download. Install, open, sign in. Already have it? Make sure it’s updated to the latest version, then move on.
Step 2 — Your license key
Muhammad sent you a personal license key. You’ll paste it once, later, when the app asks. Keep it private, you don’t create any files yourself.
License key
YOUR-KEY-HERE
Use the exact key Muhammad sent you. It looks like CC-...-xxxxxxxxxx.
Already using Command Center on an older version? You will not lose anything.
All of your data — your brain, memory, goals, dashboards, everything — lives in your own
project folder, not inside the plugin. Updating only swaps the plugin’s code. Your work stays exactly where it is.
Step 3 — Upload the plugin
Use the plugin file Muhammad sent you (named command-center-YOURNAME.zip). Leave it zipped, you upload it as-is. Then follow the one path that matches you.
First time New to Command Center
In the app, open Settings. In the left sidebar under Customize, click Plugins.
At the top right, click Add, then Upload plugin.
Select the file Muhammad sent you. It installs on its own, no unzipping.
Open a chat, type /cc-update, and paste your key when it asks. This saves your key and confirms you’re on the latest version.
Type /command-center to begin.
Upgrading You already have an older Command Center
If your version predates the /cc-update command, this one upgrade is manual. After it, every future update is a single command.
Go to Settings → Plugins. Find the old Command Center in the list and remove it.
Click Add → Upload plugin, and select your new file.
Type /cc-update and paste your key if asked. You’re now on the latest.
Don’t see “Upload plugin”? Two things to check: (1) make sure you’re on the Settings → Plugins page and clicking its Add button, not the plugin Directory / Browse screen (that one only offers “Add marketplace”). (2) Update the app to the latest version and reopen it. Upload plugin appears once you’re current and on the right screen.
Step 4 — Getting started
On your first run, type these in the message box:
/command-center start here /profile-import load your business profile /connect connect your tools /board-setup set up your advisory board
Future updates
From now on, whenever there’s a new version, just type /cc-update in the app. It checks your key and pulls the latest safely, then asks before installing. No terminal, no re-uploading by hand.
